VILEBox Quick Start Guide
Installing VILEBox
Extract the zip file including the installer. Open Setup.exe to
launch the VILEBox setup program.
The setup program allows you to choose which components
to install. By default, all English-language games will be
installed.You can choose to deselect the DOS games as a set
or each CD-ROM game individually. You can also choose to
add the demos, or the Spanish, French, or German games as a
set.
The games you’ve selected will be added to your Start menu
in a program group labeled “Carmen Sandiego.” If you install
any of the non-English language packs, they will be added to
your Start menu in a separate program group.
Once you have installed VILEBox, you can delete the installer
folder, as well as the zip file.
Basic controls
By default,VILEBox will run in fullscreen.To switch to
windowed mode, press Alt-Enter.
The DOS games can be quit directly by pressing Ctrl-Q or
using the menus.The Windows games will return you to the
Windows 3.1 desktop after quitting; you can always force-quit
DOSBox by pressing Alt-F4.
